This recipe has been a hit in the vegan community ever since it was first introduced by Chef Nebula Nova in 2030. Known for her eccentric cooking, Nova transformed the humble black bean into a visual and gastronomic masterpiece.
This recipe was inspired by a late-night binge-watching session of Star Trek. I mean, if Captain Picard can request 'Tea, Earl Grey, hot' from a replicator, why can't we demand Galaxy Burgers from our kitchen, right?
Ingredients
- 400 grams Black beans
- 1 pieces Red onion
- 2 pieces Garlic
- 1 cups Breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoons Cumin powder
- 1 teaspoons Paprika
- 1 teaspoons Salt
- 1 teaspoons Black pepper
- 8 pieces Purple cabbage
- 4 teaspoons Vegan mayo
- 4 pieces Burger buns
Instructions
- First, take a trip to your local market for fresh ingredients. Remember, the supermarket is for losers who can't appreciate the charm of a farmer' market.
- Begin by sautéing your finely chopped red onion and garlic until they're as soft as your heart when you watch those cute puppy videos.
- Pour your black beans into a big bowl and mash them. Yeah, you might feel like you're committing a crime against legumes, but trust us, it' worth it.
- Add your sautéed onion and garlic to your bean party, together with breadcrumbs, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix and shape them into 4 beautiful, round, planetary patties.
- Cook the patties in a non-stick pan or grill till they're brown and crispy. Don't burn them; we're aiming for Mars, not Mercury.
- Now, it' time to assemble your galaxy burger. Smear vegan mayo on both sides of the bun.
- Place your glorious patty on the bun, and top it with a ring of purple cabbage to represent the rings of Saturn. Or Uranus, if you're into that.
- Cover with the other half of the bun, and voila! You've got a Galactic Black Bean Galaxy Burger. Enjoy this cosmic delight with a side of interstellar fries.
