I once served these nuggets at a party, and people couldn't believe they were vegan! Even the most die-hard meat eaters were asking for the recipe.
Ingredients
- 200 grams Firm Tofu
- 1 cups Panko breadcrumbs
- 3 teaspoons Soy Sauce
- 1 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 2 teaspoons Sriracha Sauce
- 2 teaspoons Cornstarch
- 1 teaspoons Olive Oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut the tofu into nugget-sized pieces.
- In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, garlic powder, and cornstarch. Add the tofu and toss gently to coat.
- Dip each tofu piece into the panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
- Place the coated tofu pieces on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with oil.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the nuggets are golden and crispy.
- While the nuggets are baking, prepare the dipping sauce by mixing the sriracha with a little soy sauce. Adjust to taste.
- Serve the tofu nuggets warm with the spicy sriracha dipping sauce.
