Crispy Baked Tofu Nuggets with Spicy Sriracha Dipping Sauce

I once served these nuggets at a party, and people couldn't believe they were vegan! Even the most die-hard meat eaters were asking for the recipe.

Ingredients

  • 200 grams Firm Tofu
  • 1 cups Panko breadcrumbs
  • 3 teaspoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • 2 teaspoons Sriracha Sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoons Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the tofu into nugget-sized pieces.
  3. In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, garlic powder, and cornstarch. Add the tofu and toss gently to coat.
  4. Dip each tofu piece into the panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
  5. Place the coated tofu pieces on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with oil.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the nuggets are golden and crispy.
  7. While the nuggets are baking, prepare the dipping sauce by mixing the sriracha with a little soy sauce. Adjust to taste.
  8. Serve the tofu nuggets warm with the spicy sriracha dipping sauce.
