I once served these at a family gathering where even the most die-hard meat eaters couldn't resist them. They were completely surprised to learn that these 'wings' were actually made of cauliflower!
Ingredients
- 1 pieces Cauliflower
- 1 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoons Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoons Paprika
- 1 cups Plant-based milk
- 1 cups Buffalo sauce
- 2 teaspoons Vegan butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut the cauliflower into wing-sized pieces.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, and paprika. Then add the plant-based milk and whisk until smooth.
- Dip each cauliflower piece into the batter, ensuring it' completely covered, then place it on the baking sheet.
- Bake the cauliflower for 20 minutes, then remove from the oven.
- In a small saucepan, melt the vegan butter and add the buffalo sauce, stirring until combined.
- Brush each cauliflower piece with the buffalo sauce mixture, then return to the oven for another 20 minutes or until crispy.
- Let them cool for a few minutes before serving with your favorite vegan ranch dressing.
