This recipe was born out of a desire to create a nutritious yet delicious alternative to classic oatmeal. It was first concocted in my small vegan kitchen in the heart of Berlin.
I remember serving this at a dinner party once, and everyone was so surprised by the combination of flavours. They thought they were in for a traditional porridge, but boy were they in for a treat!
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoons Astragalus root powder
- 2 teaspoons Chia seeds
- 1 teaspoons Raw cacao powder
- 2 cups Oat milk
- 1 pieces Banana
- 1/2 cups Blueberries
Instructions
- In a saucepan, heat up the oat milk until it simmers. Then, reduce heat.
- Blend in the astragalus root powder, chia seeds, raw cacao powder. Stir until well mixed.
- Slice the banana into thin pieces.
- Pour your porridge into a bowl, and top it with the banana slices and blueberries.
- Serve immediately, while it' still warm. Enjoy your journey to healthfulness!
