Ingredients
- 2 cups Jackfruit
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 1 tbsp Chili powder
- 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Onion powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper
- 1/4 cup Water
- 8 taco shells Taco shells
- 1 cup Shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup Diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup Diced onions
- 1/4 cup Chopped cilantro
- 1/4 cup Diced avocado
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the jackfruit and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Sprinkle cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper over the jackfruit and stir well.
- Add water and stir to combine.
- Reduce heat to low, cover the skillet, and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Preheat the taco shells in the oven according to package instructions.
- Assemble tacos by adding the jackfruit mixture, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, diced onions, chopped cilantro, and diced avocado to each taco shell.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
