Servings: 12 | 0 minutes | 200 kcal

The first time I made these delightful treats was for a friend' birthday who was a vegan. I wanted to create something special, something that would make her smile. The result was a hit! Now, these Vegan Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups have become a staple when it comes to creating delicious and cruelty-free dessert options.

Ingredients

  • 200 grams dark chocolate
  • 1 cups peanut butter
  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • a pinch pieces sea salt

Instructions

  1. Melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pot of simmering water.
  2. Line a mini muffin tin with paper liners and spoon a layer of the melted chocolate into each one.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the peanut butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
  4. Spoon a dollop of the peanut butter mixture on top of the chocolate in each muffin cup.
  5. Cover each cup with the remaining melted chocolate and sprinkle with sea salt.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the chocolate is set.
  7. Enjoy your Vegan Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups!
