Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Balsamic Glaze

Servings: 4 | 35 minutes | 200 kcal

Ingredients

  • 500 grams Brussels sprouts
  • 2 teaspoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoons Pepper
  • 3 teaspoons Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoons Maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. Clean the Brussels sprouts by trimming the ends and peeling off the outer leaves. Cut each sprout in half.
  3. Place the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet, then drizzle with the olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Toss everything together so the sprouts are well coated.
  4. Roast the sprouts in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they’re crispy and golden brown.
  5. While the sprouts are roasting, prepare the balsamic glaze. In a small saucepan, combine the balsamic vinegar and maple syrup. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer until it has reduced by half, about 10 minutes. It should be thick and syrupy.
  6. When the sprouts are done roasting, drizzle the balsamic glaze over them. Toss to combine, then serve.
