Ingredients
- 500 grams Brussels sprouts
- 2 teaspoons Olive oil
- 1 teaspoons Salt
- 1 teaspoons Pepper
- 3 teaspoons Balsamic vinegar
- 1 teaspoons Maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Clean the Brussels sprouts by trimming the ends and peeling off the outer leaves. Cut each sprout in half.
- Place the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet, then drizzle with the olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Toss everything together so the sprouts are well coated.
- Roast the sprouts in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they’re crispy and golden brown.
- While the sprouts are roasting, prepare the balsamic glaze. In a small saucepan, combine the balsamic vinegar and maple syrup. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer until it has reduced by half, about 10 minutes. It should be thick and syrupy.
- When the sprouts are done roasting, drizzle the balsamic glaze over them. Toss to combine, then serve.
