Ingredients
- 400 grams firm tofu
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 3 teaspoons peanut butter
- 2 pieces garlic
- 1 teaspoons ginger
- 1 teaspoons chili flakes
- 1 pieces lime
- 1 teaspoons brown sugar
Instructions
- Press the tofu to remove as much moisture as possible.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut tofu into cubes and toss with cornstarch, olive oil, and soy sauce. Spread out on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until crispy. Turn halfway through for even browning.
- While tofu bakes, prepare the spicy peanut sauce. Combine peanut butter, minced garlic and ginger, chili flakes, lime juice, and brown sugar in a small saucepan. Heat over medium, stirring constantly, until smooth and heated through.
- Serve tofu with the spicy peanut sauce. Enjoy it over rice or noodles, or as a standalone dish.
