The buffalo chickpea pizza was first introduced in vegan restaurants in California, blending the love for pizza and buffalo flavors in a vegan style. The recipe has evolved over time with my personal addition of the ranch drizzle.
This pizza is a result of my love for buffalo wings and pizza, all veganized of course! Being a master chef means being creative right? So here' a fusion of flavors that' sure to excite your taste buds.
Ingredients
- 1 pieces pizza dough
- 1 cups chickpeas
- 1/2 cups buffalo sauce
- 1/4 cups vegan ranch dressing
- 2 cups spinach
- 1 cups vegan mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 475F (245C) and prepare your pizza dough on a baking sheet.
- In a bowl, mix together the chickpeas and buffalo sauce until well coated, then set aside.
- Spread a layer of vegan ranch dressing over the pizza dough, followed by a layer of spinach.
- Spread the buffalo chickpeas evenly over the spinach, then sprinkle with vegan mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden.
- Drizzle extra ranch dressing over the top, cut and serve!
