Mixed Berry and Coconut Smoothie Bowl

Smoothie bowls originated in the United States, but have become popular all over the world due to the convenience, versatility and health benefits they offer.

Smoothie bowls are often decorated to look like works of art, making them as enjoyable to look at as they are to eat.

Ingredients

  • 30 g frozen mixed berries
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 150 ml coconut milk
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp desiccated coconut
  • 1 banana
  • 1 handful fresh berries

Instructions

  1. Add the frozen mixed berries, chia seeds, coconut milk, maple syrup, and desiccated coconut to a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Divide the mixture between two bowls and top with banana slices and fresh berries.
  3. Serve immediately.
