Maple-Baked Sweet Potato Wedges

Servings: 4 | 25 minutes | 337 kcal

Sweet potato wedges have been a popular side dish for many years. While traditionally deep-fried, this vegan version bakes the wedges in the oven for a healthier version.

These sweet potato wedges are one of my favorite dishes to make. They're so simple, yet so delicious!

Ingredients

  • 4 medium sweet potatoes
  • 4 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 °C (400 °F).
  2. Wash and peel the sweet potatoes.
  3. Cut the potatoes into wedges.
  4. In a bowl, mix together the maple syrup, olive oil, salt and pepper.
  5. Add the sweet potato wedges to the bowl and mix until they are all evenly coated.
  6. Place the sweet potato wedges onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
