Ingredients
- 2 cups chickpeas (cooked)
- 1 onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic
- 3 tablespoons fresh parsley
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup flour (all purpose)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, baking powder, and salt. Pulse until finely chopped.
- Transfer the chickpea mixture to a bowl, and stir in the flour. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into four patties, about 1/2-inch thick.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place the patties in the skillet, and cook for about 3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve the falafel burgers on buns with your favorite toppings.
